cloud and network security solutions

Cloud & Network

Secure users, networks and cloud platforms - from the web gateway and firewall to email and cloud posture.

Cloud & Network: overview

Cloud and network security protects users, traffic and cloud platforms. SecureBeans deploys cloud security posture management (CSPM/CNAPP) for AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, secure web gateways and SASE for office and remote users, next-generation firewalls and intrusion prevention (IPS), and email security with phishing defence.

We deliver these with Sangfor (Network Secure NGFW, Access Secure SASE), Trend Micro (TippingPoint, Vision One), Broadcom (Symantec Edge SWG and Email Security), Cofense and Microsoft Defender for Cloud.

Cloud & Network at a glance

Next-generation firewall and SASE

SecureBeans deploys next-generation firewall platforms such as Sangfor Network Secure with intrusion prevention, application control and SSL inspection, and TippingPoint for high-throughput IPS. For hybrid workforces, SASE and zero trust network access replace the VPN with identity-aware access to private apps.

Secure web gateway and email security

A secure web gateway such as Symantec Edge SWG filters web traffic, blocks malicious downloads and enforces acceptable use. Email security and phishing defense - from gateway filtering to Cofense user-reported phishing response - stop the most common initial attack vector.

Cloud security posture management and cloud-native application protection

In AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, cloud security posture management finds misconfigurations, and cloud-native application protection adds workload and container defences. We implement Microsoft Defender for Cloud and partner CNAPP tools, and connect their findings to your SIEM and ticketing.

FAQ

Cloud & Network - frequently asked questions

What is a next-generation firewall (NGFW)?

A next-generation firewall inspects traffic by application and user, not just port and IP, and includes intrusion prevention, URL filtering and threat protection.

What is the difference between a secure web gateway and SASE?

A secure web gateway (SWG) filters and inspects web traffic. SASE combines SWG with other cloud-delivered security and networking services, such as zero trust network access and CASB, for users anywhere.

How can we reduce phishing attacks?

Combine advanced email filtering, user reporting with automated analysis (for example Cofense), regular awareness training and MFA so stolen passwords alone cannot be used.

What is CSPM?

Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) continuously checks cloud accounts for misconfigurations, risky permissions and compliance gaps, and guides remediation.
