Threat Detection & Response at a glance

SIEM and XDR that produce useful alerts

Threat detection and response turns logs into action. SecureBeans implements SIEM platforms such as Microsoft Sentinel and Rapid7 InsightIDR, onboards the right log sources, writes detection use cases tuned to your environment and enriches alerts with threat intelligence. SOAR playbooks automate repetitive triage.

Managed detection and response when you have no 24x7 SOC

Few organisations can staff a 24x7 SOC. Managed detection and response - for example Kaspersky MDR or Rapid7 MDR - adds analysts who provide 24x7 monitoring and response. We set it up, integrate log management and coordinate escalation with your team.

FAQ

Threat Detection & Response - frequently asked questions

What is threat detection and response?

Threat detection and response is the capability to identify malicious activity across your environment, investigate it and contain it quickly, using tools such as SIEM, XDR and SOAR and the people who operate them.

Do I need a SIEM if I have XDR?

XDR covers its own security telemetry well. A SIEM adds long-term log retention, compliance reporting and data from sources XDR does not cover, such as firewalls, applications and OT. Many organisations use both.

What is MDR?

Managed detection and response (MDR) is a service where a provider's analysts monitor your security tools 24x7, investigate alerts and take or guide response actions.
